Joe Danger: a Game Where You Play as a Crazy Stunt Driver

For me, the game Joe Danger is part of my childhood, and it is an incredibly funny game that my whole family would play. We used to pass the controller around after somebody either “died” or after someone completed a level of the game. I don’t think many people know about this game and all of its wacky antics, so I thought I’d share my thoughts on this game, and who knows, maybe you guys reading this might want to check the game out for yourselves.

Joe Danger is a game where you play as a stunt driver or daredevil named, Joe Danger. As far as I know there isn’t any real plot to the game, just some good old fashion fun. You play levels to unlock stars, which are used as a currency in the game. You use those stars to unlock more levels, almost always crazier than the last. Some levels are timed, some you have to hit certain targets, and others are just based on your score. Some levels also have you collect letters as you’re going through the track in to spell out the word “danger.” The game might seem easy when you first start to play it, but the farther along you get, the harder it is to beat the levels and earn your stars.

Joe Danger has a very fun way to increase your score; by doing stunts! Doing wheelies, front flips, back flips, front wheelies, dodging objects, jumping over buses, etc. are all ways to increase your overall score. The player is also given a bar that boosts your speed, and while this bar depletes, it can be refilled by more stunts. The player has go through levels filled with jump pads, tikis that are trying to crush you, shark tanks, and so much more. The game has so many fun mechanics and throws so much randomness at you that it’s hard to stop playing.

In my own personal opinion, Joe Danger is a fantastic game, jam packed with comedy and wacky antics that make the game amazing. It’s also a fun game to play with friends, as the game has a multiplayer option, where you and your friends race each other to the finish line of the track. I highly recommend this game to anyone who wants a good laugh, because this game sure does deliver.
